The Source of Redemption
1) We could never thank God enough for the great redemption we have in Christ
Jesus.
2) Without redemption there would be no salvation.

TS: Now let us look at the source or spring of redemption.

I. It's Source

    1. From the Love of God (John 3:16)
           a) Before the world began (1 Peter 1:20)
           b) Job knew about it (Job 19:25-27)
           c) God's love manifested (1 John 4:9-10)
    2. From the Grace of God (Romans 3:24-25; Hebrew 2:9)
    3. From the Mercy of God (Luke 1:78; Titus 3:4-7)
    4. From the Wisdom of God (Ephesians 1:7-8; 3:10-11)

II. The Redeemer

    1. Why He Became Our Redeemer
           a) Grace (Titus 2:11-14)
           b) Love (Ephesians 5:2, 25; 1 John 3:16)
    2. His Qualification to be Our Redeemer
           a) He is God (Galatians 4:4; 1 John 5:20)
           b) He is Man (Philippians 2:5-11)
    3. The Means by Which He Redeemed Us
           a) By His Death (John 10:15-18)
           b) By His Blood (Ephesians 1:7; 1 Peter 1:18-19)

III. The Purpose of Redemption

    1. God's Justice be Satisfied (Romans 3:25-26)
    2. Reconcile Us to be God (Romans 5:10-11)
    3. Sanctify Us to God (Titus 2:11-14)
