| The Church Stands Sure |
On every hand today we are seeing the church being persecuted and attacked by
the world. Our government is against the true church of the Lord Jesus Christ. More
and more it's passing laws that put the church under bondage. But we need not be
troubled. The Lord Jesus said this would happen just before He comes again. There
is no power or government that can destroy the church.
TS: The church cannot be destroyed because:
I. Its Foundation
II. Its Formation
III. Its Future

- Jesus is the Head (Colossians 1:15-18)
- Jesus is the Builder (Matthew 16:18)
II. Its Formation
- Eternal Life (John 3:16; 10:27-28)
- Test and Trials (Romans 8:28)
- Chastisement and Forgiveness (Hebrews 12:7-11; 1 John 1:9)
III. Its Future
- Presented without spot. (Ephesians 5:25-27)
- Prepared for a wedding. (Revelation 19:7-9)
- Positioned for a kingdom. (Revelation 19:11-16; 5:10; Zechariah 14:4,9)
