II. He Feared God
- Fear of the Lord is to hate evil. (Proverbs 8:13)
- Will help us depart from evil. (Proverbs 16:6)
- Will cause us to obey God (Genesis 22:12)
III. He Eschewed Evil
- He shunned evil. (Ephesians 5:1-17)
- Joseph an example. (Genesis 39:1-13)
Introduction:
- The end before the beginning (Job 42:10-17)
- Like Job, we all face trials:
- Persecutions (Matthew 5:10-12)
- Sufferings (Romans 8:18)
- Trials (James 1:2-12)
- As Job was tested and tried, so shall we be tried.
