| The Blood of Christ |
There are many in the church world today who deny the blood of the Lord Jesus
Christ. But regardless of what others do, we must always stand on the Word of
God. In this lesson we want to learn why the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ is
so important to the Christian.
I. It is the Basis of Our Redemption (I Peter 1:18-21)
II. It is the Basis of Our Reconciliation (Ephesians 2:11-2 1)
III. It Is The Basis Of Our Forgiveness
Christ. But regardless of what others do, we must always stand on the Word of
God. In this lesson we want to learn why the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ is
so important to the Christian.
I. It is the Basis of Our Redemption (I Peter 1:18-21)
- Not by wealth or religious traditions (vs. 18)
- But by the blood of Christ (vs. 19)
- Predetermined before the world (vss. 20-2 1)
II. It is the Basis of Our Reconciliation (Ephesians 2:11-2 1)
- Our need for reconciliation (vss. 11-12)
- Our personal reconciliation (vs. 13)
- Our church reconciliation (vss. 14-2 1)
- (Both Jew and Gentile who are saved become the church.

III. It Is The Basis Of Our Forgiveness
- No forgiveness without the shed blood (Hebrews 9:22)
- Forgiveness through Christ’s shed blood (Colossians 1:13-14)
- No fellowship without the blood (I John 1:5-9)
