Satan: Our Greatest Enemy

There are many people, even many Bible scholars that deny the
existence of Satan except in the imagination of ancient and illiterate
people. By so doing they are ignorant of his presence and power.
Once again we must go the source of authority, the Bible, for our
information on such a being as Satan.

I. THE EXISTENCE OF SATAN

He Originated Sin

IV. THE JUDGMENTS OF SATAN

-Two past, three future:

Cast Down from his Exalted Position (Ezekiel 28:16)
Judged at the Cross (Colossians 2:15; Hebrews 2:14)
During the Tribulation (Revelation 12:7-12)
During the Thousand Years (Revelation 20:1-3)
Cast into the Lake of Fire (Revelation 20:7-10)

NOTE:
Since the Lord Jesus defeated Satan through His death and resurrection, why does
he still seek to devour all that he can? Why is he still oppressing people today?
During our time of testing, Satan can still tempt us, and he keeps in bondage those
who continue in unbelief. He even has access to the very presence of God, to make
accusations against us. (See Ephesians 6:12: Job 1:6-12: Revelation 12:10). But the
patience of God will soon come to an end, and the eternal destruction of Satan will
come (Revelation 20:7-10).
