right to pray. The new life in Christ has its origin in prayer and its is fully dependent
on prayer if it grows. Anything that is lacking in the life of a Christian can be tracked
back to lack of prayer, a failure to pray as we should. No Christian life will rise any
higher that their prayer life. Se the very first thing that all Christians should learn is his
privilege to pray and then pray.
Prayer is the key to all that we receive from God and do for him:
1) It will give us victory over sin.
2) It will give us grace to stand every trial.
3) It will give us strength to overcome every test.
4) It will give us the ability to love a holy life.
5) It will inspire us to love God and others as we should.
Prayer is a privilege that lets us talk to God. We should never neglect the wonderful
privilege of prayer.
[I] The Native prayer paths growing up.
TS: Now there are three things that we want to consider about prayer:
I. The Privilege of Prayer
1. It's an Invitation from God (Matthew 7:7-11)

II. The Purpose of Prayer
1. To Honor God as Our Father (Matthew 7:7-11)
2. To Fulfill or Office as Priests (1 Peter 2:5-9)
3. To Fulfill Our Obligation to Other Believers (Ephesians 6:18)
4. To Bring the Lost Before God (1 Timothy 2:4)
5. To Overcome the Powers of Evil (Ephesians 6:11-12)
6. To Personally Grow in Grace (1 Timothy 4:7; 2 Peter 3:18)
III. The Power of Prayer
1. Will Bring Forgiveness of Sins (1 John 1:9)
2. Will Bring Wisdom (James 1:5)
3. Will Bring Grace and Mercy in the Time of Need (Hebrews 4:14-16)
