| Peter's Salutation |
The book of Second Peter is a very important book which deals with the dangers
that the church will be facing in the last days. We are in those last days and we need
to know what to do as the children of God. In this book of Second Peter, we have
three chapters. In Chapter 1, Peter establishes us in our faith; in chapter 2, Peter
exposes false teachers; and in chapter three, Peter exhorts us for the future. In
(1:1-2), we can learn some glorious things about our salvation in the Lord Jesus
Christ.
I. The Gift of Salvation (Ephesians 2:8-19)
II. The Ground of Salvation (Romans 3:24-26)
III. The Goodness of Salvation (Vs 2)
Knowing and understanding these things will help us be established in our salvation,
which will assure us of being steadfast, and faithful in the times in which we live. Do
you possess this salvation that comes from the Lord Jesus Christ?
