| Our Spiritual Privilege |
In these two verses, we have some tremendous spiritual blessings that reveal God's
love and grace toward us. We are truly blessed of God. In these two we see two
great spiritual blessings.
I. We are Chosen in Christ
II. We are Predestined (vs 5)
All according to the good pleasure of His will.

I. We are Chosen in Christ
- Chosen in Christ, not in ourselves. We are chosen in the merits of another,
Christ Jesus. We are not worthy, but He is worthy and qualified. - We ere given to Christ. (John 6:37; 17:2)
- This salvation is all by God's grace. (2 Timothy 1:9)
- The time He chose us.
- The Purpose.
II. We are Predestined (vs 5)
- Predestined to Adoption
- Predestined to the praise of His glory. (vs 11)
- Predestined to the image of Christ. (Romans 8:29)
All according to the good pleasure of His will.
