| Daniel: The Golden Image |
In chapter two the image which the king saw in a dream was of divine origin; the
image in chapter three was the king's own idea. The first was political, dealing with
the Gentile nations. The second is religious made an object of worship. In this
chapter three we have a picture of what will take place during the tribulation period,
just before the Lord Jesus comes in great power and glory to crush the Gentile
nations.
