we all have to make decisions as to how we are going to stand. Can we be like
Daniel? Can we make the right stand under any situation in life? Let us look at this
great stand Daniel took.

Daniel's Background that Made Him Strong..
1. The Political Events
Daniel was born 625 B.C., the same year that the Babylonian Empire was
born. King Ashurbanipal, the last king of Assyria, died that same year and his son,
King Ashur-uballit, weak and incapable as a king captured the province of Babylon
Nabolassor, father of Nebuchadnezzar, rebelled and took all of Babylon from
Assyria. Eight years later in 612 B.C, the Chaldean and the Mead army destroyed
the great city of Niviniah forever, thus the rise of the first world empire, the
Babylonian Empire. These things had great ramifications on Judah and the life of
Daniel.
2. The Greatest Revival (2 Chronicles 34-35)
Daniel was born during the reign of Josiah.
